"When Jack Wei asked me to represent his pastel portraits I said I would have to see an original before I could give him a response. Jack asked me to send a few photographs and he would paint samples for my consideration.

For more than twenty years, The Portrait Group has assisted hundreds of clients in selecting just the right artist for their portrait commission. I appreciate how important it is that they are assured the portrait will "look" like them. I had sent Jack photographs of my two grandchildren and when the pastel portraits arrived I was breathless! Jack had captured every find detail of these two children in the paintings. The likeness was exact but the style was soft and youthful.
